Summary
Archibald was the fourteenth child of Samuel and Kate Stretton. Declining to follow five of his brothers to New Zealand he set up a motor garage business in Gloucester, no doubt with the help of his older brother, Edward Alfred, who had a long-established garage business in Cheltenham.
